Support
Email support@picflips.app. A person reads it, usually within two business days. Include the show name and roughly when the deal happened if your question is about a specific one.
Getting in
How do I get the app?
Pic Flips is in a private beta on iPhone. Email us and say what you sell; we'll send a TestFlight invitation when there's room. Android follows.
Which sign-ins work?
Sign in with Apple, Google, or an email code. No password to remember.
At the table
How should I take the photo?
Lay the item or items next to the cash, spread the bills so each one shows, and shoot from above. If the buyer paid on their phone, photograph the item next to their screen showing the amount. Sealed product reads best when the box's name is in frame; a cut-off name is the most common thing the reader has to guess at.
There's no signal at the show.
That's normal and fine. Snaps are saved on your phone and upload when you have signal again. The counter next to the shutter shows how many are waiting.
How do trades work?
Choose Trade, then take two photos: what you're giving, then what you're getting. Cash on either side goes in the photo of that side. The two sides are confirmed together.
Reviewing
The reader got something wrong.
Every draft is editable before you confirm it. Fix the quantity with the stepper, tap an item to pick the right product, tap the total to correct the cash, or pick a different payment. "Looks right" means the reader was confident; "Double-check" means look closely. Nothing is booked until you confirm.
I confirmed a deal by mistake.
Tap Undo on the deal. It comes back off your books and any stock it moved is put back.
Two drafts are the same deal.
If you snapped a deal twice, the later one is flagged "Possible duplicate". Swipe it away.
Helpers and plans
How do helpers work?
Invite a helper from your show. They sign in with their own account, tap your link, and their snaps go into your show. They see only the camera and whether their snaps uploaded; you review and own the books. You can remove a helper at any time.
What does it cost?
There's a free plan with a monthly limit on deals, and paid plans with higher limits, market prices and imports. Current prices and limits are shown in the app, and purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings.
Can I bring my inventory from another app?
Imports from Collectr are planned for the beta, with others to follow. Email us which app you use.
Your data
How long are my photos kept?
Photo files are deleted 30 days after the deal they belong to is settled. Your books stay as long as your account does. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, under Account, or follow the steps at picflips.app/delete-account.
