Pic Flips

Terms of Service

Effective October 11, 2026. Applies to the Pic Flips app and picflips.app.

Short version: Pic Flips turns your photos into draft deals, and you confirm every one. You own your data. The app is in beta, so keep your own records. Subscriptions run through the app stores. Texas law applies.

1. Who you're agreeing with

Pic Flips is operated by Kareem Ayub, an individual based in Texas, United States ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Pic Flips.

2. What Pic Flips is

Pic Flips is a tool for people who sell in person. You photograph each deal; the app uses an AI reader to turn the photo into a draft sale, buy or trade; you review and confirm drafts; the app keeps your books: sales, buys, trades, inventory and profit. It also shows market price estimates from third parties.

Readings are drafts. The reader can miscount bills, misread a label, or miss an item. Nothing is booked until you confirm it, and you're responsible for checking each deal before you do. Pic Flips is not an accountant, a tax service or financial advice. Market prices are estimates from third-party sources and may be wrong or out of date.

Beta. Pic Flips is new. Features may change, be removed, or break, and data could be lost. Keep your own records of anything you can't afford to lose.

3. Your account and your helpers

Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else is using it. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

You may invite helpers to snap photos into your shows. Helpers use their own accounts and can see only their own snaps' upload status. The books belong to the account that created the show. You're responsible for your helpers' use of the app in your shows, and you can remove a helper at any time.

4. Your content

You own your photos and your data. You give us the permission needed to store, process and display them in order to run the service for you, including sending photos to our AI provider to produce readings. We don't claim any other rights in them.

You confirm that you have the right to photograph what you photograph. Don't photograph people without their consent; the app only needs the items and the payment.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use Pic Flips to break the law, to record deals you're not a party to, to interfere with the service, or to try to get around plan limits. Don't try to reverse engineer the app or the reader. We can suspend or close accounts that do.

6. Plans and payment

7. Third-party services

Pic Flips relies on services we don't control: Apple, Google, Supabase, Anthropic, JustTCG, RevenueCat, Railway and Cloudflare. Their outages or changes can affect the app. Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these terms as far as the app is distributed through their stores; they have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Pic Flips, and their own store terms apply to downloads and purchases.

8. Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in the app or at picflips.app/delete-account. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, or end the service, with notice where we reasonably can. Sections 2, 4, 9, 10 and 11 survive.

9. Disclaimers

Pic Flips is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We don't guarantee that readings are correct, that prices are current, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or lost deals, arising from your use of Pic Flips. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If we have a dispute, email us first at support@picflips.app and we'll try to work it out within 30 days. If that fails, claims go to the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.

12. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. For a change that matters to you, we'll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Pic Flips after that means you accept the change.
